How to Delete Your Account
You can request deletion of your JaatApp account and all associated data at any time. Here's how:
Method 1: From the App
- Open JaatApp on your device
- Go to Settings (tap your profile icon)
- Select Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision and enter your password
Method 2: Via Email
Send us an email at [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the phone number associated with your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile and all profile information
- All messages and media in your conversations
- Your matrimonial profile and match history
- Business listings associated with your account
- All account settings and preferences
Data Retention
Some anonymized data may be retained for up to 90 days after account deletion for legal compliance and fraud prevention. This data cannot be linked back to you personally.
